June 30, 2006. Herndon, VA. The Herndon Braves snapped the Senators’ 12-game winning streak with a 9-6 victory over Vienna tonight at Herndon High School.

The Braves reached Senators starter Dave Kellerberg (Florida Southern
University) for eight runs (six earned) over 2.1 innings of work and
finished with 16 hits, the most Vienna has allowed in a game this
season.

The Senators were paced at the plate by catcher Franco Valdes
(Broward Community College), who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and had a
three-run home run in the eighth inning.
