June 17, 2006. Fairfax, VA. Center fielder Bryan Jaeger (LSU-Eunice) plated second baseman Travis Dunson (Lamar University) on a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to push ahead the winning run as the Senators defeated the Fairfax Nationals at Paul VI High School in Fairfax tonight.

A solo home run in the first inning by third baseman Tim Guidry (Tulane University) gave Vienna the initial advantage before the Nationals tied the game in the fifth.

Mason Griffin (Grayson County College) threw 2.2 innings of hitless relief to earn the victory. Senators starter Scott Denault (University of San Diego) allowed one run on one hit in five innings before giving way to Ernie Cho (Loyola Marymount University), who allowed one hit in 1.1 innings.
