Sam Cunningham (Emory University) had three hits, left fielder Joe
Newman (Oklahoma University) went 2-for-5 with three RBI and
designated hitter Greg Wolfe (University of New Orleans) had two hits
as Vienna totaled 16 hits and jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two
innings.

Senators starter Scott Denault (University of San Diego) picked up
the victory after allowing two runs on seven hits over six innings
before giving way to relievers Chad Johnson (Texas State University),
who allowed one run on two hits in one inning of work, and Ernie Cho
(Loyola Marymount University), who allowed one run on two hits over
two innings.
